Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DivyTracker (“DivyTracker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, account identifiers, authentication records, and profile information received from a sign-in provider such as Google.
  • Portfolio information: holdings, quantities, transaction history, cost information, notes, portfolio names, and preferences you choose to enter.
  • Usage and device information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and features used, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.
  • Payment information: subscription status and transaction details from our payment provider. Payment-card numbers are generally collected and processed by the payment provider rather than DivyTracker.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize the Service; authenticate users; calculate and display portfolio information; process subscriptions; maintain, troubleshoot, and improve features; communicate with you; prevent fraud and misuse; protect users and the Service; comply with law; and enforce our agreements. Where required, we rely on an appropriate legal basis, such as performing our contract with you, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligations.

3. Cookies and local storage

We and our service providers may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, understand Service performance, and support functionality. Your browser may let you block or delete these technologies, but doing so can cause parts of the Service to stop working.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, market-data, analytics, communications, customer-support, and payment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets; or with your direction or consent. Vendors may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

5. Sale and targeted advertising

DivyTracker does not sell personal information for money. We do not use portfolio holdings or transaction history for third-party targeted advertising. Certain privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising broadly; if our practices change or these definitions apply to a future feature, we will provide any required notice and choices.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup cycles and legal requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You may review or update certain account and portfolio information through the Service and may stop providing optional information. You may also request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information, or object to certain processing, where applicable law provides those rights. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. You may appeal a decision or contact your local data-protection authority where applicable.

9. Third-party services

Third-party services, websites, and data providers have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not cover information they collect independently. Review their policies before providing information to them.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action. A higher minimum age may apply in some jurisdictions.

11. International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Your continued use of the Service after an update is subject to the revised Policy.

13. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. Please do not include passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive information in email.
